I feel as though a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders now that my Dress Me Up embroideries have come together in a quilt top. It's just over twelve months since I started the first dress.
The ladies in the fabric diamonds came from a piece of Springtime in Paris by Michael Miller.
My photography leaves a lot to be desired, but I think you can get the general idea of how it looks. It measures 55" by 64".
Fantastic! What a beauty! Great job!
ReplyDeleteWow I really love this where did you get the pattern or is it your own design.
ReplyDeleteOh *congratulations!! You have completed the quilt, whereas my embroideries are still tucked away.
ReplyDeleteYour layout is so unique ... you'll never see another one like it. What a great job you did!
Well done it looks gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteLove those fussy cut diamonds. You have done such a great job and the stitcheries are beautiful.
Now to quilting?
I've seen this quilt top 'in the flesh' and must say that Diamant's fabric choices are beautiful - they complement her embroidered dresses perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThis is just sensational. LoVe it! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely comments. The dress embroideries came from Dress Me Up from the Bobby Socks Quilt Company at http://bobbysocksqc.com/ but the layout is my own idea.
ReplyDeleteTime now to start the hand-quilting.
That is really lovely!! I love the embroidered dresses.
